LAUNCH DATE ANNOUNCED!

Friday, October 30 at 7:00 pm MST.

Audrey’s Books and Turnstone Press are co-hosting the launch which will be mc’d by our very own Alice Major. The evening will feature readings from the book as well as a discussion with special guest Dava Sobel. Yes! That Dava Sobel! Author and former New York Times science reporter, Dava’s books include Longitude, The Planets, A More Perfect Heaven, And the Sun Stood Still and The Glass Universe and, of course, Galileo’s Daughter.

THIS IS AN ONLINE EVENT. PLEASE EMAIL Audreys@audreys.ca and they will send you a link to the event ONE HOUR BEFORE it starts.

There are a number of advantages in having a virtual launch: foremost among them is the fact family and friends who either don’t live in Edmonton or who are unable to make it can participate without dying. Doing an online launch also made it possible to include Dava Sobel which is the most amazing thing ever!

The downside of a virtual launch is that I can’t sign your book for you. I was really looking forward to seeing you and thanking you personally for buying the book and being part of the evening. Do not despair though! There are still a couple of ways in which you can get your book signed. For those of you in Edmonton, I encourage you to buy the book from Audrey’s. They offer both curbside pickup and delivery. Order now at https://audreys.ca/

Then drop me a DM or an email (my email address is in the book if you don’t already have it) and we can arrange to meet somewhere in town, with masks, and I can sign your book and we can say hi in person. I am dying to see you!

For those of you who don’t live in Edmonton, I encourage you to buy the book at your local independent book store. Barring that, it is available at all major online retailers. I also have a limited number of copies available that I can personalize and mail to you for the low, low price of $20. Again send me a DM or an email.

Thanks for your support and I look forward to seeing you on the 30th!
